Creating a millennial brand from a traditional parent brand

Hall, a luxury global wine brand known for its 99 point Cabernets, enlisted us to extend its portfolio via a new brand for its new Zinfandel, BACA.

This involved leveraging the Hall parent equity, while creating a new DTC brand.

We worked collaboratively with the Hall and BACA teams to create a brand platform that reflected the BACA vision. The brand needed to resonate with Hall loyalists, more traditional wine enthusiasts, while also bringing Millennials into the franchise.

  • In its first year, BACA scored 93 points by Wine Enthusiast, 
    92 by Wine Magazine and sold out 
    multiple times online. 

  • Described as one of Healdsburg's "hottest" wine experiences with
    a "storytelling at the center" approach to its tasting room
